Cofield Mundi’s distinctive voice and prolific songwriting ability are a powerful combination.

Cofield has released two albums with Universal Music Group.
Her debut album “Ceremony” was nominated for Best Pop Album at the South African Music Awards in 2004.
The Big Question”, her second album, followed suit with a nomination for Best Adult Contemporary Album in 2009.
Six of her ten single releases have charted in the top ten across South Africa.  

Cofield is an ambassador for the Nelson Mandela 46664 Foundation performing at the 46664 Fancourt Concert alongside Queen, Will Smith, Annie Lennox and Katie Melua. She is also an ambassador for the Sunflower Leukemia Fund and Project Peace on Earth.

 

As a result of her radio and media success, Cofield was invited to appear as a guest judge and perform on South African Idols VII.

Season VI winner Elvis Blue covered one of Cofield’s songs titled “Only wanna be with you” on his album “Lightly Tread”. This album won the award for Best Adult Contemporary Album at the South African Music Awards in May 2012.
Mark Haze (Idols VII runner-up) covered a song that Cofield cowrote with Russell Dickerson (Combustion/Nashville) called “Make Time Stand Still” on his 2012 release“Where angels fear to fly”.
